Kelsey Riser is the Office Manager and Principal Broker for the Ricketts Group, an eXp Realty team based in Eugene, Oregon.
Kelsey became a real estate agent and was hired by the group in 2017, bringing innovation, structure, and a high level of attention to detail to the team. She is a well-respected asset to the Ricketts Group; Kelsey assists the team with file compliance, human resources, payroll, and corporate management. She has prior sales and business management experience and was trained by the top Transaction Coordinator in the Eugene/Springfield Keller Williams office back in 2017. Kelsey maintains her knowledge by communicating with her local state compliance team regularly and taking relevant continuing education courses. She also has considerable experience with home remodeling, including general management and design, having completed two moderate remodels in Eugene and a major remodel in Springfield. Kelsey is also a licensed Realtor® (Principal Broker) with the Springfield Board of Realtors, having over 8 years of industry experience.
Kelsey was born and raised in San Diego, California, and spent many summers with her father in Eugene during her school breaks. After finishing high school, she spent a short time in Niagara Falls, New York, but was inevitably drawn back to Eugene, where she truly feels at home. Growing up, Kelsey was a big sister to five younger brothers, which she feels has had a big influence on her personality today. Kelsey likes to spend her free time cooking healthy plant-based meals, studying Japanese, watching anime, reading manga, tending to her orchid collection, playing the shinobue flute, playing video games, leather-crafting, and hanging out with her beloved parrot Rubio. Her favorite food is freshly made Vietnamese-inspired salad rolls dipped in her homemade pickled onion sauce, which she describes as a meal she could eat happily every day. Kelsey is also a seasoned traveler; she’s been to Mexico numerous times, traveled the United States extensively, including the Hawaiian island of Kauai, and recently visited Japan, a place she's already eager to return to. Her current personal goals are to purchase an investment property, travel to Alaska and Canada, become fluent in Japanese, and purchase a second home somewhere in central or southern Japan, where she can spend a few months out of the year.
